Frequently asked questions
Questions about funding
Every situation is different. In the consultation we clarify your questions personally.
Does the training cost me anything?
With an education voucher, the Employment Agency or the job centre covers the course fees. Advice from us costs you nothing.
What is the course proposal?
A summary for your contact person at the agency: which training, which content, why it is needed on the labour market and why it suits you. You submit it to the agency or take it to the appointment.
How long does it take to get an education voucher?
That depends on the appointment at your agency or job centre. If you go into the conversation well prepared, things often go faster. We help you with that.
Can the education voucher be rejected?
Yes, the decision lies with the Employment Agency or the job centre. A well-reasoned course proposal improves your chances. If the application is rejected, we discuss the next steps together.
Will I keep receiving money during the training?
If you receive unemployment benefit, it continues during the training. If you receive benefits from the job centre, your contact person there will clarify the details.
I am employed – is that possible too?
Yes. Under the employee funding scheme in Section 82 SGB III, the Employment Agency can cover course costs and part of your salary. Your employer submits the application. More for employers
